Passports and Visas

  • Passports

Customers must provide valid passport details either at the time of purchase or within 72 hours of booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation, with customers responsible for any associated costs and fees. Additionally, passports must have a minimum validity of six months for entry into China.

  • Visas

A tourist visa is required for travelers entering China on a foreign passport. To avoid delays, we recommend applying for your visa immediately upon receiving your documentation, as processing times may vary due to consulate operating hours.

From November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2025, ordinary passport holders from 38 countries are eligible for visa-free entry into China for up to 30 days for purposes such as business, tourism, family visits, exchange programs, and transit. Travelers who do not meet the visa-free criteria must still apply for a Chinese visa.

Eligible Visa-Free Countries:

France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Republic of Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, and Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Travel Health Information

  • Vaccinations

While China Student Tour.com does not provide specific health advice, we strongly recommend consulting your doctor at least six weeks before travel to receive guidance and allow time for any necessary vaccinations. Please remember to bring your itinerary to your appointment.

For further details on vaccinations, visit Smartraveller.

  • Medical Note

In addition to certain regions in South America, cases of the Zika virus have been reported in Thailand and Vietnam. If you have any concerns or require more information about the virus, please consult your healthcare professional or visit the Smartraveller website.

  • Medical Conditions

Your health and safety are our top priority at China Student Tour.com. Some of our itineraries involve challenging conditions, requiring participants to be in reasonably good health and able to complete activities unaided.

Passengers with existing medical conditions or food allergies must notify China Student Tour.com no later than 60 days before their departure from Australia.

Travel Insurance

  • Travel Insurance Policy

We strongly recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance for the entire duration of your trip. To ensure full coverage, we advise purchasing a policy as soon as you pay your deposit.

For official guidance from the Australian Government regarding travel insurance, visit smartraveller.gov.au.

  • Important Considerations:

If you are obtaining travel insurance through your credit card provider, carefully review the policy inclusions and conditions.

You should receive a policy number, an international emergency contact number, and a copy of the policy terms.

Please email us a copy of this information before your departure.

  • Emergency Assistance:

In the event of medical treatment, hospitalization, or changes to your travel plans, contact your insurance provider immediately.

They will determine the best course of action regarding treatment, repatriation, and necessary booking arrangements.

Our team is available to assist you in reaching your travel insurance company.
