D1: Arrive Chengdu

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Chengdu Jinzhu Hotel (or similar). You will begin your adventure with an exciting Opening Ceremony, where professional tutors introduce Sichuan’s fascinating ancient Shu culture, unique local customs, spectacular geography, and mouth-watering cuisine. After the orientation, you'll enjoy fun and engaging ice-breaking activities to quickly build friendships with your fellow travelers. Later, join an interactive student-sharing session to discuss your expectations and impressions about Sichuan, enhancing your confidence and communication skills. Each student will receive memorable souvenirs, including a special Panda Study Booklet, a beautifully designed Sanxingdui-themed journal, and charming panda-themed gifts.

D4: Chengdu – Panda National Park Exploration (Ya‘an Baofeng Area)

Head into the beautiful Giant Panda National Park in Ya'an, where you'll discover how pandas live in the wild. You'll follow in the footsteps of French biologist Armand David, who first introduced pandas to the world. With guidance from experts, you'll do some hands-onieldwork, including observing animal footprints, identifying wildlife habitats, and learning to use infrared cameras to study animals secretly. You'll also discover how local communities protect nature, helping you understand the importance of biodiversity and conservation in real life!

D7: Chengdu – Sichuan Cuisine Museum – Dujiangyan

Dive into Sichuan’s famous food culture at the Sichuan Cuisine Museum. You’ll learn how popular dishes are made, watch exciting cooking demonstrations, and even get to cook some tasty Sichuan dishes yourself! After enjoying local snacks for lunch, you’ll visit the historic Dujiangyan, an incredible irrigation system built over 2,000 years ago that's still in use today. Don’t forget to take a photo with the giant panda sculpture at Yangtianwo Square, a famous local landmark!

D10: Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve – Chengdu

Visit the incredible Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve, famous for its crystal-clear lakes, beautiful waterfalls, snowy mountains, and colorful forests. Often called a "fairy-tale world," it's the perfect place for amazing photos and enjoying nature at its best. After spending the day exploring this natural paradise, you'll return to Chengdu filled with unforgettable memories!

D2: Chengdu – Sanxingdui Museum – Sichuan Brocade Museum

Start your journey at the Sanxingdui Museum, one of China's most impressive archaeological sites, known for its mysterious bronze statues and stunning artifacts from the ancient Shu civilization. You'll see incredible items like a huge bronze statue (over 2 meters tall) and an extraordinary bronze sacred tree. After lunch, you'll visit the Sichuan Brocade Museum, where you’ll have a chance to try traditional weaving yourself. Enjoy creating your own embroidered souvenirs and experience firsthand the beauty of Sichuan's cultural heritage.

D5: Ya‘an – Mengding Mountain Tea Culture – Chengdu

Head to Mengding Mountain, the birthplace of tea culture in China. You’ll pick your own tea leaves, learn how tea is traditionally processed, and visit the interesting World Tea Culture Museum. Don't miss the giant "World’s Largest Teapot", nearly 10 meters tall—a perfect photo spot! After a relaxing day discovering the traditions and history of tea, you'll return to Chengdu.

D8: Chengdu – Wuhou Temple – Dufu Thatched Cottage – Sichuan Opera

Explore some of Chengdu's most famous historical sites. You'll first visit Wuhou Temple, dedicated to the heroes of the Three Kingdoms period, especially Zhuge Liang. Next, you'll head to the peaceful Dufu Thatched Cottage, once the home of the famous Tang dynasty poet Dufu, known for its beautiful gardens and ancient architecture. In the evening, you'll enjoy an exciting performance of Sichuan Opera, famous for its incredible face-changing act and lively storytelling—a truly unforgettable cultural experience!

D11: Back Home

Today you'll have free time to explore Chengdu at your own pace or do some last-minute shopping. Your guide will arrange a convenient transfer to the airport based on your flight time. Safe travels!

D3:Chengdu – Panda Volunteer Experience (Ya‘an Panda Base)

Travel to the Ya'an Panda Base for an extraordinary panda volunteer experience. Upon arrival, you'll receive a warm welcome and orientation about the day's activities. You'll start by exploring the Panda Museum, engaging in interactive exhibits and fascinating 3D films to learn about panda biology and conservation. Climb the Panda Tower for panoramic views of the panda habitats. After lunch, closely observe pandas of different ages and behaviors, guided by experts. You'll even create special panda snacks known as “窝窝头” (panda cakes), learning about their ingredients and nutritional value. Wrap up this unforgettable day with a certificate awarding ceremony to celebrate your contribution to panda conservation!

D6: Chengdu – University of Electronic Science and Technology of China

Explore one of China’s leading tech universities— UESTC. You'll take a campus tour, visiting scenic spots like the beautiful Ginkgo Avenue, relaxing Wetland Park, and the university’s modern library. You'll also visit the fascinating Electronic Museum, learning about key inventions in electronics and communication. The highlight of your visit is stepping inside exciting labs such as the F1 Racing Lab and the Terahertz Laboratory, where you’ll see how cutting-edge technology is developed and used in real life. It's a great way to experience university life and get inspired about science and innovation!

D9: Chengdu – Zhongchagou

Visit Zhongchagou to explore the unique cultures of the Tibetan and Qiang peoples. At the Tibetan-Qiang Cultural Museum, you'll discover over 500 fascinating cultural artifacts, including traditional weaving, lively drum dances, and ancient Tibetan medicine. Later, you'll get hands-on by making traditional Tibetan incense yourself, a relaxing way to connect with local traditions and create a special souvenir to take home!
